Our Projects: Technology with Purpose

At Speed Business Tech UK Ltd, we design and deploy innovative technology solutions that address real-world challenges in health, sustainability, and education.

Every project we deliver is grounded in ethical AI, practical implementation, and measurable social impact, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 9, and 13) — promoting health, industry innovation, and climate action.

1. PH-LIDDIS – Port Health Logistics Integrated Digital Disease Surveillance System

PH-LIDDIS is an AI-powered disease detection and surveillance platform designed to strengthen public health security at airports, seaports, and land borders.

The system integrates real-time analytics, machine learning, and biometric data to enable port health officers to identify and respond to potential epidemic threats quickly and effectively.

Developed in collaboration with Africa CDC and national Ministries of Health, PH-LIDDIS is currently being piloted in Ethiopia under the FCDO EthiopiAI Programme (2025).
It represents a transformative step toward proactive epidemic intelligence and cross-border health protection across Africa.

2. MiCode Health – Digital Medical ID for Emergencies

MiCode Health is a QR-based digital health platform that allows individuals to securely store and share vital medical information during emergencies.

Users can include details such as allergies, medications, and emergency contacts, accessible instantly via bracelets, keyrings, or smartphone stickers — ensuring informed care when every second counts.

The system is being introduced to hospitals and private clinics in Nigeria, with expansion planned through partnerships with insurance providers and regional health authorities.

3. VR/AR Training for Public Health Officers

Our immersive Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) training tools provide realistic, scenario-based simulations for frontline port health officers.

These interactive modules enable officers to practice screening, coordination, and patient interaction in safe, controlled digital environments.
Developed using Unity 3D and Unreal Engine 5, this initiative supports the Africa CDC’s capacity-building strategy and complements PH-LIDDIS by enhancing workforce readiness.

4. Goodwill Oil Ltd – Waste Oil Collection and Recycling

Goodwill Oil Ltd, in coordination with Speed Business Tech, drives an environmental technology initiative focused on collecting, processing, and recycling waste cooking oil from restaurants, hotels, and industrial kitchens.

The recovered oil is converted into sustainable biofuels, supporting the circular economy and reducing environmental pollution.
Through transparent supply chains and rebate incentives, the project promotes green jobs and cleaner urban environments.

5. Umez Recycling Initiative – Plastic Recovery Partnerships

The Umez Recycling Initiative connects international recycling companies from Europe, Asia, and the Americas with partners in Nigeria’s waste management sector.

Its goal is to build a nationwide plastic recovery and recycling network that minimizes marine waste, creates employment, and strengthens environmental sustainability.

Speed Business Tech leads stakeholder engagement and technical partnership coordination to accelerate private investment and green technology adoption across Africa.
